By using the SportyMatch platform, you agree to these Payment Terms, which govern how payments are processed and outline the financial responsibilities of all users.

• Payment Requirement: Players must pay all applicable fees before participating in any session or group.
• Organizer Responsibility: Organizers are solely responsible for providing accurate session details—including pricing, scheduling, and rules—and ensuring compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
• Risk Acknowledgment: SportyMatch does not host, supervise, or operate sessions. Participation is at the Player’s own risk. SportyMatch is not responsible for injuries, damages, losses, or disputes arising from Organizer-hosted activities.

To support the operation and improvement of the platform, the following fees apply:

• SportyMatch Platform Fee: SportyMatch charges a non-refundable platform service fee equal to 5% of the session or membership price, added to the total amount paid by the Player at checkout.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe charges payment processing fees based on its then-current pricing, commonly around 2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction in the United States. Processing fees may vary by country, payment method, card type, or future Stripe pricing changes. These fees are paid by the Player at checkout.
• Transparent Pricing: All applicable fees are clearly disclosed before payment is finalized. No SportyMatch Service Fees or Stripe processing fees are deducted from the Organizer’s payout.
• Authorization: By providing payment information, Players authorize SportyMatch and Stripe to securely store and charge their payment method for approved transactions conducted through the platform.

• Full Payouts: Organizers receive the full base price they set for their sessions or memberships.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe charges payment processing fees based on its then-current pricing, commonly around 2.9% + $0.30 USD per transaction in the United States. Processing fees may vary by country, payment method, card type, or future Stripe pricing changes. These fees are paid by the Player at checkout.
• Stripe Accounts: Organizers must maintain an active Stripe account to receive payouts and are subject to Stripe’s terms and conditions.
• Taxes and Compliance: Organizers are solely responsible for their own tax reporting, filings, and regulatory compliance. Stripe handles payment-related tax documentation (such as 1099-K forms, where applicable) generated through its services.

All payments made through SportyMatch are subject to the platform’s Refund Policy.

• Non-Refundable Fees: Unless required by law, SportyMatch Service Fees and Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.
• Event fee Refunds: Refund eligibility for event fees is determined by the Organizer’s stated cancellation or refund rules.
• Policy Updates: SportyMatch may update the Refund Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current policy.

Organizers are responsible for handling and responding to chargebacks related to their sessions.

• Dispute Handling: Chargebacks must be addressed by the Organizer directly through Stripe. Organizers are responsible for any associated fees, penalties, or losses resulting from a dispute.
• Evidence: Organizers should maintain records such as attendance logs, communications, or agreed-upon terms. SportyMatch may provide transaction details to assist but does not control or determine dispute outcomes.
• Account Protection: Abuse of the chargeback process by Players, or repeated chargebacks associated with an Organizer, may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.

SportyMatch acts solely as a payment facilitator and technology provider. SportyMatch does not guarantee session quality, attendance, outcomes, or user satisfaction and disclaims all liability for financial losses, unauthorized transactions, injuries, or disputes between users.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SportyMatch, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of SportyMatch’s payment features.
• Your violation of these Payment Terms.
• Any fraudulent, negligent, or harmful conduct affecting other users.
